Acer mini laptops are one of the top netbooks currently released. The various manufacturers have different objectives and different target markets. Some of the manufacturers try to make the price as low as possible yet make the mini laptop still usable for multitasking while others strive to be best in battery life for frequent travelers to enjoy their machines without the hassle of charging. Balancing these features is the toughest part and often the most ideal mini laptop for the majority. The Acer Aspire One aims to be that laptop of choice where both energy efficiency and performance is emphasized.
First Glance:-
The Acer Aspire One Mini Laptop boasts a sleek design and comes in black, white, as well as two cool colors, red and blue. Like many of the modern mini laptops, the screen size measures 10.1 inches diagonally which effectively balances the portability and productivity sides. The 1024 x 600 resolution doesn’t measure up to some of the 10.1-inch contenders, but CrystalBrite technology makes sure that the LED brightness level is sufficient.
The keyboard is also well designed with no major problems in usability whereas the touchpad could have been a bit bigger, but fortunately the Acer Aspire One has 3 USB ports so there can be 2 extras even if there is a mouse plugged in. All of the connectors are on the sides as well which could lead to a cleaner desktop setup. The Multi-in-1 card reader serves as a nice complement to the 3 USB ports making this one of the most versatile mini laptops.
