This one is fine tuned for excellent battery life and also offering standard performance, nice keyboard and standard build quality which you should expect from a portable netbook.Though it feels to have a higher resolution screen and better graphics, the configuration that you get is worth its price tag.

I’ve been waiting for a netbook with a good resolution and ability to play HD movies and 1005PR does just that. Great resolution for the size, surprisingly fast, great sound, great battery life. Everything I wanted and more.

The Broadcom chip in the Eee PC 1005PR is a conservative power consumer, and that should be welcome news for road warriors. The 1005PR’s keyboard has the same island-style layout found on earlier Seashell models. overall netbook is fantastic.

Compared to other netbooks, is an excellent choice. $399 for an entry level netbook is a bit expensive but worth it. ASUS makes great motherboards and Sustainable design is far from cheap. Although customer service is less than stellar, is probably not necessary. There were only three problems I found when working with it. Not a good deal breaker, but the keyboard is actually held steady by a band of tape.

The battery is work more than eight hours, which is fantastic. They keyboard noise and delicate, but you can type fast enough with it. Frankly, the speed and resolution full-screen video with the netbook I want a very reasonable price. I can live with its few shortcomings.

ASUS continues to deliver net-books that “keep their cool” I have found. The 1005PR never has produced any uncomfortable heat, even after hours of usage. A major plus if you ask me.
